Not happy with what was available and seeing some less-than-ideal options available we knew we could do better! We wanted easy installation, maximum hull surface contact and support and the ability to shape the cradle profile to suit any outrigger canoe hull shape. Today's super light canoes are also super fragile; most damage occurs while transporting. 

   Fabricated from 6mm aluminium and lined with 80mm wide by 25mm thick closed cell foam. Our 3/4 saddles have been designed to safely transport single outrigger canoes. Featuring a high side and a lower loading side. The high side of the cradle will support your canoe in windy conditions, preventing it from being flung across your vehicle while loading. The loading side of the cradle is lower and features padding on the front edge of the cradle. This adds extra protection and also enables easy side loading. Featuring twice the surface contact on the hull as opposed to V mounts or generic cradles. Strap tension required to secure your canoe is reduced.

Will they fit my cross bars?

Most cross bars will utilise the T slot mounting system, this is the slot running along the top of your crossbars. We have 2 sizes available. Please select kit A or B when purchasing so we send the correct hardware.
